The Finish Line Festival will be located at the historic Freight House There will be a large shaded tent, plenty of food and drink for the runners, and entertainment for all! Beginning bright and early, we’ll have bands playing to get you grooving! Jeff Jenkins Band - Playing 7:30-9:30 a.m. Big Woody Blues Revue - Playing 9:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
"A Taste of Kansas City" Post Race Food Court Presented by Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin and Liberty Fruit Company
The Post-Race Food Court will be located in the Freight House District parking lot just below the Main Street Bridge. Participants and volunteers have the opportunity to enjoy food from some of Kansas City’s best restaurants including City Tavern steaks and seafood and Jack Stack Barbeque. Beverages will also be provided. Runners will have a separate Runner’s Food area and must use their certificates to eat at the restaurants. The finish line chute will take runners through several stations (water, medical, medals, pictures, food) before an exit into the Festival area to reunite with family and friends. Note: runners will not be able to re-enter the chute for food. All runners will be given an empty bag as they move through the chute to save food for later. |
